During opening of the main parachute, hand deploy snagged on the helmet video mount creating a horse shoe
malfunction. Jumper cuts away main and goes back in free fall. Due to heavy clothing and big gloves due to the
cold weather, jumper was enable to locate the reserve ripcord and Vigil fired. Reserve opening, canopy ride
and landing were uneventfull. This is obviously a save.
After a toggle fire at the main canopy that induced severe rotations, jumper tried to correct the problem for too long time, cut away approximately between 350 and 300 m and never pulled his reserve ripcord.
Happily he builded enough speed for the Vigil to activate at a very low altitude. Jumper landed in a tree, shocked but not severly injured.
Obviously an other save !!
Toggle off caused line twists above and below slider. Spinning on my back. Canopy collision at 2k ft. At the same time in process of emergency procedures. Located cutaway handle, didnt locate reserve handle.
RSL failed (was open on landing) was on/closed during gear check.
RSL failure caused confusion. Couldn't locate handle, got to belly position as AAD fired.
The unit fired in freefall when novice parachutist don't pull main and reserve. Vigil saved a life.
Jumper had got line-twist with fast spinning. He did cut-away but couldn't find reserve handle after.
During a wingsuit flight I used a bad deployment position, flipped to back and violently spin. Tried to slow spin and tried to pull but couldn't find my handles because the spin pushed my rig up. AAD fired while on my back and landed safely in the field.
Uneventful wingsuit flight, normal deployment, spinning line twist after opening. Loss of altitude awareness resulted in late Emergency procedures.
The one hand cutaway method did not work, I had to use both hand to release the main canopy. While reaching out to the reserve handle the Vigil fired.
Didn't find all the handles
Jumper made 6 way Head UP jump. They jumped from 4000m and planed to do break off at arround 1500m. On the break off skydiver went in track and than tried to find main hackey. He tried this few times but always missed it. At approx 600m skydiver put himself in belly to earth possition and just flew utill AAD fire. Looks like he had total brain freez because he even did not try to pull reserve handle. Thanks to AAD and good reserve pack job (totaly straight) because he was close to obstacles and could end very badly
I was involved in a freefall collision and was knocked unconscious. Your wonderful Vigil II cut my reserve loop and I landed under my reserve (still unconscious). There is absolutely no doubt that your AAD saved my life and I would like to extend my thanks to you and all your staff.
