Type 3
- Specially developed for Vigil® (patented technology -EU Patent N° EP1512626A2 )
- The cutter severs the reserve loop by a pyrotechnical cutting action with a circular knife
- It will eventually melt the loop to ensure its separation due to high internal temperature
- The cutter is completely confined to avoid any possible damage to the parachute
- Cuts the loop in less than 2 milliseconds
- Strong and flexible connecting wire (kevlar reinforced)
- No interconnections (same wire from connector to detonator)
- Wire-cutter connection resists up to 50 kg traction
- Easy cutter replacement
