We hereby want to inform you that the production time of Vigil is unexpectedly increased due to an unforeseen extra delivery of the electronic LCD producer. This is a consequence of the Japanese earthquake and the next shipment is actually now firmly foreseen in 2 weeks.
Once received, we need of course to assemble and test our product as usually and this will take an extra 2 weeks.
As conclusion, our delay will be postponed for 4 to 5 weeks.
We are sincerely sorry for this inconvenience. Of course, we are doing our utmost best to reduce this delay as much as possible and hope to propose again our usual ± 1 week delivery time in a very near future.
We hope you understand this unusual situation and please accept once again our apologies for the trouble this situation may cause, but this was really beyond our control.
We stay at your entire disposal for any further information you may require and want to thank you for the confidence and trust you have in our product.

22-April-2008: LONGER BATTERY LIFE SPAN FOR Vigil I
We estimated theoretically as also mentioned in the manual a life span of 4 years or 700 jumps for the Vigil I.
Now after more than 4 years of experience in the field, we are able to confirm that the battery life expectation is higher than foreseen.
They will at least be good for 1.500 jumps or 10 years as long as the message “Bat Low” or “Bat Rpl” doesn’t appear on screen, you don’t need to change the battery (the manufacturer gives a life span of max. 10 years after which you are obliged to changed it).
